Milwaukee "Cream City" Brick Veneer Tile, Sq Ft
Brick veneer tile made by slicing the sides off of real antique reclaimed Milwaukee "Cream City" brick. BACK IN STOCK!! We have a limited quantity received these from a demolition of a small farmhouse north of Milwaukee. These brick were made in the late 1800's at the banks of the Milwaukee and Menominee rivers. Milwaukee has the nickname as the "Cream City", not because of the Wisconsin dairy business. It was because much of the town was made of these distinctive cream to light yellow colored brick that lead to the moniker. This brick was made from a limited time, mainly between 1880 and 1930.
